Terms and Conditions

Welcome to FounderLaw (“we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of our website, tools, AI-generated content, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using FounderLaw, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. About FounderLaw

FounderLaw provides AI-assisted tools to help users draft, customize, and manage legal documents. While some documents are reviewed or structured with the guidance of qualified lawyers, FounderLaw itself is not a law firm, and using our Services does not create an attorney-client relationship.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;

  • Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms;

  • Provide accurate and complete information when using the platform.

3. Use of Services

You agree not to:

  • Misuse, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission;

  • Interfere with platform functionality, security, or other users;

  • Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of FounderLaw.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time.

4. AI-Generated Content

Our platform uses AI to generate legal templates, clauses, and written content.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may not be perfect, exhaustive, or appropriate for every situation;

  • You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of all documents;

  • You may need advice from a qualified lawyer depending on your circumstances.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is legally sufficient in every jurisdiction.

5. No Legal Advice

FounderLaw provides information and automated document creation, not legal advice.
Except where explicitly stated, no lawyer-client relationship is formed through your use of the platform.

If you need legal representation or jurisdiction-specific guidance, we recommend consulting a licensed lawyer directly.

6. User Accounts

When you create an account or join our waitlist, you agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login details;

  • Be responsible for all activity under your account;

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Payments and Subscriptions (If Applicable)

If paid plans are offered:

  • Pricing details will be displayed on our website;

  • Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis, unless otherwise stated;

  • All payments are non-refundable unless required by law.

We may revise pricing with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, design elements, trademarks, logos, and software on FounderLaw are owned by or licensed to us.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

FounderLaw may integrate with third-party tools or services (e.g., payment providers, analytics).
We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or actions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • FounderLaw is provided “as is” and “as available”;

  • We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or reliability;

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Services,

  • Your breach of these Terms, or

  • Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for:

  • Violating these Terms;

  • Misusing or abusing the Services;

  • Legal, operational, or security reasons.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will provide notice (e.g., through the website or email).
Your continued use of the Services after updates indicates your acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
